Another Social Media First For Pharma

Ortho McNeill has now presence on Facebook as reported by Pharmaceutical Executive. Regulations and a lack of measurable ROI has kept pharma companies fairly conservative in the social media space. Ortho McNeill sponsored group "ADHD Moms" is somewhat of a controlled environment. It is not a two way dialogue but it does invite Facebook users to join its group which will have regularly updated expert content . It is a way to create presence on the popular social network. It remains to be seen the degree of success that this program will actually achieve.
